Important: Always add the product to water — never add water to acid. Start with cold water, then carefully add the appropriate amount of F9.
How to Apply
Pre-clean heavily soiled surfaces when necessary to remove dirt, grease, oil and loose debris. Lightly mist the surface with water so it is damp without creating puddles.
Mix F9 at the appropriate dilution and apply using a compatible pump sprayer, handheld sprayer or professional chemical application system. The surface should begin to foam as the product reacts.
Allow approximately 20 seconds to 3 minutes of initial dwell time, keeping the surface wet. Agitate stubborn deposits with a hard-bristle brush or broom when necessary. Additional dwell time may be used depending on the surface and severity of staining.
Do not allow F9 to dry on the surface.
Neutralize and thoroughly rinse or pressure wash the treated area after application. Evaluate the results and repeat using an adjusted dilution when necessary. Multiple controlled applications are generally preferable to one excessively strong application.

F9 Calcium & Efflorescence Remover may be used on compatible concrete, brick, pavers, limestone, sandstone, riverstone, exposed aggregate, stucco, shingles, EIFS, glass, synthetic stone, anodized aluminum, unpolished marble and other surfaces.
Always test a small, inconspicuous area before full application. F9 can etch masonry and may not be appropriate for polished or glazed surfaces, metallic or synthetic coatings/films, acrylic, or polycarbonate sheet glazing.
